drn007 asked: How'd you get involved with Polinski? And where'd you get that sweet-ass jacket?
I wish the Polinski story was as cool as the Protomen story but there isn’t much to it. Ever since I started working with the Protomen, I’ve also been working with Caspar Newbolt: designer extraordinaire and, I guess, unofficial art director for the band. Since we’ve been working together, Caspar has thrown me other, non-Protomen work every now and again when he needs something done. Caspar and his company, Version Industries have worked with Paul Wolinski’s (Polinski) other band, 65 Days of Static so, I guess when Paul wanted to do another music project he went to Caspar for the album design and music video and Caspar asked me if I was interested in working on it. I peed my pants then accepted.
The jacket (from the film “Drive,” for those unaware) can be purchased here.
