John DeLucca: An Introduction

Hey, everybody! I just wanted to sort of introduce myself in between actual art posts. I’m John. Nice to meet you.

I think the majority of my followers are Protomen fans and know the work I’ve done with them. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. I was just a fan before I met the band for the first time. My wife (girlfriend at the time) had printed a digital piece I’d done of Protoman (many of you know the one) on a t-shirt for me for Christmas. When I did finally meet the band, they had seen that Protoman drawing on my Myspace page (yeah, I know right?!) and they recognized it on the shirt I happened to be wearing. That’s pretty much the story. They asked me to do a poster and things just snowballed from there.

If you’re following me and you haven’t gone back through my older posts, please take a second to check out some of that stuff. There aren’t hundreds of pages to go through so it won’t take you long. I posted it really early on in my Tumblr career and it didn’t get much attention. It may be my ego talking but, I think it’s some of my “A” material.

I know time between posts is long but I’m just posting things as I finish them. I have so much cool stuff I want to show you but, the time isn’t right yet. Please send me comments and questions, I’d love to hear/answer them. Let me know what you’d like to see!
